Nativity Prep Academy is a private-independent, all-scholarship Catholic middle school and college access program for young men and women from historically under-resourced communities who represent the first generation of their family to graduate from college. Eleven years of support empower our students to excel through high school, college, and beyond, becoming role models and leaders in their communities. Nativity Prep students are 5x more likely to graduate from college than other historically underserved students. Our Purpose is to break the cycle of generational poverty by developing our students’ and their family’s ability to live a life of opportunity, choice, and service. Our students will be productive, faith-filled, and fulfilled members of society who understand the importance of giving back.

The International Rescue Committee provides opportunities for refugees, asylees, victims of human trafficking, survivors of torture, and other immigrants to thrive in America. Each year, thousands of people, forced to flee violence and persecution, are welcomed by the people of the United States into the safety and freedom of America. These individuals have survived against incredible odds. The IRC collaborates closely with government bodies, civil society actors, and local volunteers to support refugees, asylum-seekers, and other immigrants in San Diego, as they work to rebuild their lives.
